The Victoria and Albert Museum located in England recently announced that it will be holding a collection of famous shoes through the ages. This exhibit should be most interesting as it will hold shoes that have never been on display up until now, from sought after shoe designers like Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo. It will also feature shoes made famous by their celebrity wearers such as, Marilyn Monroe. Besides features shoes that are just outrageous and more works of art than wearable; the exhibit will also feature historical shoes from decades ago. It will have on display shoes that look just downright painful that were worn in other countries long ago. This exhibit looks quite exciting as it is basically like covering the history of shoes. Hopefully it'll make its way over to the U.S.

Sephora the well-known beauty store, that boasts a variety of products to meet all beauty needs now faces a law suit based on racial discrimination as of Tuesday, November 18th. The retailer was running a sale of a 20% off discount on all of its products which boosted a high volume of traffic to the site as customers wanted stock up on their favorite beauty supplies at a great price. The site reportedly crashed under all the traffic which it was unaccustomed too. Although A few Chinese/Asian plaintiff's claim that it was actual discrimination on the company's behalf for intentionally blocking them from accessing the site. The plaintiffs believe the site blocked them on the discriminatory belief that Asian/Chinese people will abuse sales by buying items in bulk only to resell. Sephora denies the accusations, claiming that their inability to access the site was due to the site not functioning because of the high traffic that occurred during the sale period. I wonder what evidence will unfold in court to prove either side of the story. I do believe that Sephora will prove sufficient evidence showing that access to their site was limited due to outages which occurred to the heavy traffic during the time period.

Everyone should be on the lookout for model Kendall Jenner, as she continues to climb her way to the top of the fashion world. At the age of only 19, she has modeled in some of the biggest fashion shows around the world. She is shown above wearing a sexy black dress designed by Yigal Azrouel, which she wore to the very recent 2014 AMA's (American Music Awards). In this dress she was considered one of the best dressed attending the event, as she pulled off such a risque and mature look. It is also said that Jenner may appear in the Victoria's Secret Fashion show premiering in just about two weeks from now, on December 9th. The most breaking news however is that Jenner is going to be the new face for Chanel's new campaign being launched in the Spring of 2015. Michael Kor's known for his luxury-fashion-forward iconic purses, just released a new collection called: Animal Instinct. This collection is all about animal prints which express an exotic feel to them. This luxury lineup consists of large totes, backpacks, and a few wallets. The totes offer a more sophisticated feel to them compared to some of Kor's more casual purses. The tote would be the perfect accessory for a day at the office, as it is spacious and gives a professional yet trendy vibe. The entire collection is made of luxurious materials featuring both leather and calf hair. The line also arrived in perfect time for Christmas, as many Kor's fans would love to own one from this fun and furry collection. As per the sad news of Oscar de la Renta's death as of last week, Shrimpton Couture has decided to honor Mr. de la Renta via recreating some of his greatest hits. These classic pieces went on sale November 1st and are in high demand because they are so classic and timeless. Featured in the collection is an array of beautiful dresses, each expressing a different ethnic influence form an Asian inspired dress to a Parisian style dress and jacket featuring fur trim. The best part about this collection is the price. Each of the dresses that would normally retail for well above the $5,000 range but they are recreated at a fraction of the price with most costing less than $1,000. This is such a great way to remember de la Renta as well as have one of his most classic and popular vintage designs. These designs are available through Shrimpton Coutures website only for a limited time.

A most unfortunate event happened to the fashion world on October 20th, 2014 as the news of Oscar de la Renta's death hit the nation. Oscar de la Renta is famous in the fashion world for his exquisite exotic dress designs. He died at the age of 82, from complications of cancer that he had a few years prior. Renta started creating designs when he was only 18 years old in Spain which is where he turned away from abstract art and followed his passion for fashion. He worked for many big designers in NY a few years after visiting Spain, although it was not until 1965 that he finally got a chance to launch his own brand and line. De la Renta is known for dressing many first ladies in his extravagant gowns. He is also popular for his red carpet looks which he created so well. Featured above is both a picture of de la Renta himself and some of the gowns he has created over the years. Peter Copping will now be appointed as the new creative director for the brand. Hopefully de la Renta's magnificent designs will continue to live on in the fashion world.

Now everyone can own a Wang original because this dress retails for a mere $60 in comparison to many of Wang's high dollar price tags. Alexander Wang known for his sporty, edgy, and avant-garde approach in the fashion world announced a while ago that he would be doing a mash up with the department store H&M. This bag is a must have for Tory Burch addicts. The bag was inspired by some old armor that Burch's family themselves collected. We can see the inspiration unfold in the armor-shaped metallic leather scales covering the entire surface of the purse. This tote is called the Large Doctor's Bag because of its old Dr. bag look and feel. It has a nice leather handle and the metallic is so shiny to the point that it's almost reflective. This is a very large tote, so you can carry just about anything in it. It would make a great carry on bag for those who enjoy traveling frequently. This bag flew off the shelves upon its release just a few weeks ago, it is currently sold out on many of the websites that were carrying it. So consider yourself very lucky if you happen to come across one. This bag is made almost entirely of leather, so it retails for $995 which is considerably more than most of Burch's bags, but this one is defiantly a unique statement piece. Its guaranteed to get compliments on the daily.

"eiffel-fashion-france-gorgeous-model-Favim.com-115597" 2011 Jerine Lay, used under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.0 Generic license: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/ This is a stunning photo that I just had to post because this dress is absolutely stunning. The cut of the dress will cast a perfect silhouette of the female form. The dress shows off lots of leg and is daringly sexy, with a subtly low cut neckline. The form fitting top is extravagantly beaded and the bottom of the dress very delicate as it blows in the wind. This dress is absolutely a statement piece, it looks as if the model has just walked off the runway! The accessories also compliment the dress perfectly without taking anything away from it because the jewelry and shoes are also very high end and glamorous looking. The photographer also chose an excellent choice of scenery with the model being the focus of the picture but still having the Eiffel tower in the background.

Tory Burch Purse by Kristina Benko is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Tory Burch has a new collection of Thea totes, one of her most popular purse collections. Incorporated into this new design are beautiful chain straps, a leather fringe detail, and the purse is made from a luxurious Italian pebbled leather. This tote is absolutely adorable and can be worn day or night. It is also very functional because it is very spacious once you open it, and there is even a nice magnetic closure to keep it closed at the top so you don't loose your belongings. Tory Burch has even expanded on this collection to include her new slouchy Thea tote, which is a little bit smaller but has more of a sophisticated, night on the town look to it.
